Kiss Alive 35 - Living Legends

Kiss shows

Kiss has a real live reputation; they don't simply perform songs, but present an attractive and overwhelming mixture of rock 'n' roll, theatre and circus. During their non-make-up period (let's say the eighties) it was much less, we have to admit.

And even though Gene and Paul are in their late fifties or just turned sixty now and don't move and jump around as wildly as they used to do some 30 years ago, their "recipe" still works, as the "Kiss Alive 35 Tour" proved.

I was able to see Kiss twice, during the "Kiss Worldwide Alive 96/97" tour, in Brussels and Ghent. In the original line-up (with Peter and Ace).

What's more ... I could see them for free, as guest reporter for "On line with Rock" (which turned into Proximus Goformusic later). I have reposted my original review of the Ghent concert here (English and Dutch versions available). Just follow the links in the navigation pane on the right. Unfortunately, I can't find my review of the Brussels concert any more ...
